CFA Program Information
The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program is the most prestigious professional certification in the field of financial analysis. First introduced in the United States in 1962, the CFA program has become increasingly internationalized, with many members awarded the CFA Charterholder designation throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia. It originated from the need to create a standard that investors and businesses could rely on when dealing with investment professionals and financial experts. Today, the CFA is considered a mark of excellence in the financial market. There are currently over 178,000 members in 165 countries worldwide, and more than 31,000 companies around the world use the CFA as a hiring and promotion standard. The program is divided into three levels. Passing all three levels is one of the requirements to become a CFA Charterholder.
In November 2023, the CFA Institute (USA) officially recognized the Bachelor of Finance program with a curriculum that provides over 70% of the knowledge content according to the CFA program standards and became a member of the CFA Institute's University Affiliation Program (UAP).
