The application of green finance is expanding vision and creating a major turning point in the allocation of investment capital, aiming for sustainable development and minimizing environmental impact. Understanding and practicing green finance is gradually becoming an indispensable element in the development strategies of financial institutions, businesses, and pioneering individuals.
In that trend, the Faculty of Finance, Institute of International Training, Banking University organized a discussion on the topic "Green Finance and Research Experience published in international journals" with the desire to create a forum to share and update the latest knowledge, practical experiences and international research trends in the field of green finance.

Dr. Duong Thi Thuy An, Head of Corporate Finance - Faculty of Finance - Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, will bring an in-depth view through the presentation "Green Finance: Bridging Sustainable Indices and Conventional Markets". Dr. Duong Thi Thuy An earned her Ph.D. from Utrecht University, the Netherlands, specializing in financial integration, trade, and productivity. She has extensive experience in the financial sector with experience from leading securities companies and through lectures on corporate finance, portfolio management, and subjects related to risk and investment. Dr. An is also an in-depth researcher with works on sustainable finance, capital markets, and empirical finance.
Dr. Hung Do, Associate Professor of Finance, Director of the Sustainable Finance Research Group, and Director of the Master of Finance program at Massey Business School (MBS), New Zealand, will bring "Research experience, submit articles for publication in international journals". Dr. Hung Do is also a member of the MBS Assurance of Learning Committee and also a member of the MBS Board of directors from 2019 to 2020. Dr. Hung Do received his PhD in Financial Econometrics from Monash University, Australia in 2013. He has taught many topics including Advanced Risk Analytics, (Advanced) Financial Risk Management, (Advanced) Business Finance, Financial Modeling, Commercial Bank Management, Investment Banking, Financial Econometrics, Quantitative Methods for Financial Markets, and Applied Time Series Econometrics. Dr. Hung has the following expertise in the field of econometrics and Statistical Analysis for Banking & Finance and his research areas include Banking, Credit Risk, Empirical Finance, Energy Economics Quantitative, and Time Series Econometrics. His research work has been published in prestigious international journals including European Journal of Operational Research, Energy Economics, Journal of Financial Markets, International Review of Financial Analysis, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Economics Letters , and International Review of Economics and Finance, and many other journals.
