On November 8, 2023, CFA Institute (USA) officially recognized the Bachelor of Finance training program of the Faculty of Finance - Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City. HCM (HUB) has a training program that provides knowledge that meets standards of over 70% according to CFA program standards and becomes a member of the university partner program (University Affiliation Program - UAP) of the CFA Institute. Within the framework of this joint program, HUB was allocated 3 scholarships by the CFA Institute for the CFA exam.

1- What is the CFA Student Scholarship?
CFA Student Scholarship is a scholarship sponsored by the CFA Institute for students of the group of partner universities with the CFA Institute (CFA University Affiliation). With this scholarship, students are exempted from registration fees and have the CFA exam fee reduced to only $400.

2- How long is this scholarship valid?
The scholarship will take effect 2 weeks from the date of issue and is valid for 1 year.

In addition to the information required by the CFA Institute, candidates need to attach additional required information (Additional Requirements section) as follows (if the documents are missing, it will be considered as not having enough basis for approval):
- Transcript updated to the most recent semester.
- The latest Curriculum Vitae (in English), clearly presents the movement's achievements and activities, foreign language and computer skills.
- Motivation letter (in English): 1 A4 page long with the following content:
- Your CFA review process.
- Expected CFA exam date
- Explain why you think the CFA certification is right for your career path.
- Relevant certificates and certifications

5- Where to submit scholarship applications?
- Scholarship applications are submitted on the system's Platform, at www.cfai.smapply.io .
