The Finance - Banking program, majoring in Finance of the Faculty of Finance is designed to offer students majoring in Finance the choice of 01 out of 02 learning directions suitable for the needs and abilities of each student: (i) Quantitative Finance and Risk Management or (ii) Finance & Business Administration. Accordingly, after completing the general education and basic knowledge blocks, students can choose 01 out of 02 directions to continue completing their professional education knowledge block in Finance. Each learning direction has courses/subjects designed with appropriate and attractive content on Finance, especially new courses built to approach the application of technology, and programming language and for the first time designed to teach exclusively for the program such as Quantitative Finance, Financial Modeling, Insurance Pricing, Risk Management by Quantification.

With a academic team holding high academic titles, degrees, and extensive scientific research experience, the Faculty of Finance has made significant contributions. Over the 5-year period from 2019 to 2023, the faculty published 312 research papers, including 100 on international journals. Additionally, we completed 24 scientific research projects at all levels and authored 20 textbooks, reference materials, and specialized books.

The Faculty of Finance has also successfully organized numerous domestic and international conferences and seminars.

Through its scientific research activities, the faculty contributes to creating new knowledge, providing policy advisory, and solving practical problems within the Vietnamese financial system. Gradually, the faculty has established a strong reputation among researchers, financial institutions, and media agencies.
