With the philosophy of Liberal education - Interdisciplinary - Experience, scientific research activities (SRA) of students are of particular interest to the leadership of the Faculty of Finance and the university. Conducting SRA helps students to explore their potential through research activities, combined with experience to solve key economic and financial problems in society, thereby broadening their vision and understanding. With a variety of SRA activities, from conducting research projects, writing articles for conferences at home and abroad, to participating in academic competitions inside and outside the university, students of the Faculty of Finance have achieved outstanding results.

Some outstanding achievements of the Faculty's students include:

• Winning the 10th "Investment Analysis Challenge 2022" organized by Ho Chi Minh City Banking University.
• Winning the "Investment Challenge - Season 2" organized by UEF University with the participation of more than 500 talented students from UEF and other universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City.
• Winning the Investment Challenge 2021 organized by Ton Duc Thang University.

In addition, the research topics of students are diverse and have won high prizes at a number of competitions such as the National Econometrics Olympiad, Eureka, the Student Scientific Research Competition, etc.

With a team of enthusiastic lecturers with international standard scientific research capacity, who are always ready to accompany students to conduct high-quality SRAs, contributing to the mission of FOF to provide a source of honest and professional human resources; research with academic and practical impact; training human resources to provide consulting services and community service activities in accordance with resources; thereby contributing to the development of the financial system of Vietnam.
